Jim Brush and Alison Sloat turned a roadside stand into Key West Key Lime Pie Co. Their pies—made fresh in store with all‑natural, locally sourced ingredients, real key lime juice, and a handmade graham cracker crust from a 100‑year‑old recipe—were named the Nation’s Best Pie by the American Pie Council. In 2014 they teamed up with entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis (CNBC’s The Profit), growing the business while keeping every pie handmade.
