Celine (formerly Céline) is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and Richard Vipiana as a made-to-measure children’s shoe business. It expanded into women’s ready-to-wear, sportswear, and footwear in the early 1960s. Headquartered in Paris, Celine was acquired by Bernard Arnault in 1987 and integrated into the LVMH group in 1996. Michael Rider became creative director in 2025.
