Standing 14.4 inches wide and 14.4 inches deep, it features a robust, faceted body that tapers to a flared rim and a pedestal base.

The main body showcases a masterfully painted landscape “character story” scene against a pristine white ground. It depicts a grand, red-roofed pavilion nestled among lush green pines and mountains, with a cascading waterfall in the background. Two tiny, vividly dressed figures stroll across the courtyard, adding a charming sense of scale and narrative to the scene.

Adding a striking three-dimensional element is the sculpted sheep head protruding prominently from the shoulder. Glossy red enamel with curved black horns and piercing eyes, the sheep head provides a dramatic contrast to the smooth, painted body—a unique artistic flair that was highly typical of the expressive Qianlong period under Emperor Qianlong.
