DESCRIPTION

After a moutain-themed collaborative collection, the Taiwanese brand INVINCIBLE and The North Face are returning for a new partnership dubbed “The Backstreet” collection, and this time they are giving us a flashback to The North Face’s 1990’s streetwear legacy. The two brands are reinventing the classic 90’s-era pieces of the brand, among which the Mountain Light and Nuptse Jackets which are at the core of this vintage-style collection. These two jackets are decorated with a very big The North Face branding in the back, incorporated with a purple and pink illustration of the Yosemite Half Dome in homage to David Alcorn’s TNF logo.

The new Mountain Light Jacket features a gray, black and blue color-blocked style and some key features of the 1994 model such as waterproof Dryvent tech and breathable mesh lining. The Nupste jacket also presents similarities to its 1996 retro model such as a boxy cut, a ripstop exterior or a packable hood, all reworked to today’s modern taste from the two brands.

The collection also plays host to apparel pieces such as a hoodie and two tee-shirts, which all display the same illustration than the jackets.
